We Require A New Philosophy

For a long time now we as a society and the West generally, have been following a Left wing agenda. It sets the ethos and ethics and instructs us on the path to take. It does so outside of democracy by not actually asking for visible power, but it exerts it none the less.

It does so by evoking its creed 'progressive', to suggest that we are achieving progress by following their lead, but going in the right direction. Blair called it 'modern'. But 'the right direction' is one that works for the vast majority, one that people agree on. For the Left that is not it at all. Their 'right direction' is when they get what they want.

It is a form of fundamentalism that is every bit as careless of the public at large as ISIS, but does so behind the scenes most of the time. It tried mass murder before and strangely it wasn't as wildly popular as was imagined. Violent revolution is out, for the time being and soft, patient destruction is in.

So what are the fundamentals of the strong Western society that has done so well since the Reformation? Well, basically, family, individual liberty, democracy, capitalism and property rights and strong law to support these ideals and the people (in general).

Reviewing all of the above, which are all iniquitous to a solid, Left wing totalitarian state, the only ones that really matter are capitalism and family. These, if suppressed will never be other than a cause of friction, better for the people to come to realise that they are false, or perhaps just lose them by inattention.

A society once reliant on these codes and mores that sees them vanish will become chaotic and at that point the lever pullers will step from behind the curtain to seize power and delete the other aspects of liberty, freedom and justice. The state, e.g the Left elite will provide all that.

Capitalism is the tough one. It works and is seen to work (see ebay and the sharing community). Left to their own devices people instinctively act in a capitalistic fashion. The phrase 'to better oneself' or even 'to better provide for my family' are garlic to the Left vampire.

So, the nuclear family had to be the target. Hence the sexual revolution of the Sixties, the relaxation of divorce laws, the insistence by the Left that women should work (that looking after children was beneath them and used by men to oppress them) and the promotion of homosexuality and paedophilia.

Much of this worked because it all seemed so 'reasonable' and caring. To think otherwise made you feel as if you were constraining someone else, not empathetic. The introduction of welfare for single parents and the insistence that children born out of wedlock should not be a shame on the mother, were crucial building blocks in destroying the family.

A mother who devotes herself to her family and works in the home, looking after children cannot be costed or underrated, any more than the man, who sees less of his children due to his devotion to family by work and providing an income. Whilst men have become accustomed to feeling superior, nothing stops a woman working and they are no less able. By such action attitudes change.

Naturally, a woman going out to work meant two incomes in a family and an increase in their wealth and ambitions. This isn't the Leftist way, so thankfully the ability to pay more for a house meant prices shot up and the Left pushed the need for ever more expensive, regulated childcare to remove as much of this income as possible.

They don't care about a woman's identity and feeling of worth, by having a job, they just don't want her forming a strong family unit. Just like they care nothing about the angst and mental anguish of the homosexual and paedophile, they just know they both can help to destroy a society's structure, if they push for 'rights'. Which is why the 'movements' supporting these activities are so aggressive.

Capitalism, the Left tried to address intellectually. They pointed out that some people were rich and others not and that it would be perfectly in order for the poorer to take what they want from the 'rich'. (Most Left wing ideas are at best naive, the sort of things you believe at school but then leave behind when you discover the real world - so after university as well)

They talked about fairness and redistribution of wealth, but as they progressively undermined education (their state cannot have educated people in it, someone has to do the work), the public became less and less interested in such matters. Bit of an own goal there.

But then they hit on an idea of simple genius. They would use the mass stupidity they had created to get turkeys to vote for Christmas. There had been some academic research into the possibility of an impending ice age as it seemed to be getting colder. Then it seemed to get warmer and the scare went away. But some, looking at the mechanisms decided to go further.

An effect was discovered that became known as 'the greenhouse effect'. The biggest aspect of this is clouds. They reflect sunlight off their tops back into space and act as a blanket keeping warmth in. Other things keep heat in too like methane and carbon dioxide.

It took only one person at first I guess, who had never got past schoolboy politics to think; if carbon dioxide is a greenhouse gas, and Man has been producing ever greater quantities of it then surely we have warmed the planet? We have affected the climate!

Studies were carried out and even by 1966 it had been concluded that the amounts produced by Man were insignificant in the context of global conditions controlling climate. But science isn't static and politics not interested in the truth when a lie works better.

So, the essentially sound theory that CO2 can cause warming, was pushed way beyond credulity (but when told to simple folk, with a straight face, can work) and sustained by a wave of propaganda. Politicians of all stripes saw in it a way to raise taxes and the Left were gleeful that capitalism was destroying itself spending its wealth chasing a chimera.

For the Left of course it was even more totemic. If you can get people to believe a completely unbelievable thing, something a child could see through, then you have achieved a great thing. So global warming wasn't just helping to destroy capitalism from within, it was proving just how stupid people are. A massive coup.

At this point, those with an open mind and a leaning to enquiry ask about the science. It is settled apparently. Well, there immediately is the problem. Scientists are telling us that something, perhaps the only thing in the history of Mankind, is absolutely 'known' by scientists. They are so sure that they not only say further research would be pointless, they insist there must be no further research.

And as governments pay the scientists, I guess anyone saying, 'well, I might have a look any way' will find he has no funding. And is now being ridiculed personally in august scientific journals.

Science has a method. This says that by observing and experimenting, producing repeatable results we can espouse a theory. It is up to others to prove it wrong. All of the global warming data says things like, its been hotter and colder before, so climate changes for reasons we don't understand. The planet warms and CO2 content goes up, not the other way around.

It has been colder when there was way, way more CO2 in the atmosphere. Water vapour (clouds) are by many, many times the largest warming contributor, oh and OMG, the Sun. Didn't see that one coming eh? And the only current empirical evidence from observation we have is that there has been no global warming for 18 years.

The Left's global warming scam was based on ever more CO2 causing ever more warming, and computer models preloaded with that assumption. So, our current crop of scientists don't hold to the scientific method, have made the most costly demands in history all supported only by computer models and no actual science.

When they discovered the evidence was against them, they lied but somebody leaked the emails. But then of course the international body running the climate change scam, demanding you show it respect consists of a few vested interest scientists and a whole raft of anti-capitalist activists like Greenpeace and WWF. Run by a railway engineer, who makes a nice penny on the side with his 'green' companies looking for government handouts.

So, the Left are currently pushing up your energy prices massively (more to come), ensuring your children don't get an education, destroying healthcare, making the police a political body and increasing state powers in as many areas as it can. The EU could be a part of it, again it is a Marxist ideal lying about its true intentions, but it is run clumsily by too many traditional politicians, so is little more than a sideshow for the real Left.

What we need is a better understanding of how we live together, to return freedoms that even so called conservatives are taking away and a new philosophy. What we mustn't do meantime is undermine our own democracy by voting for Marxists like Labour, the Lib Dems or, heaven help us, the Greens.

Balcombe Non Fracking

Just seen the latest disgraceful behaviour of violent, Marxist anti-capitalists on the news, where the enemy is a fuel that will help make heating affordable for the poor. It is amazing that in a compassionate country we do not have enough mental care homes for them and enough prisons for a good number of them. They are here, seeking to recreate North Korea to meet their ideological goals in Britain. Successful economies terrify them as people don't tend to tolerate totalitarian regimes when they have access to opportunity.

So cheap fuel is an absolute horror for them. With the global warming scam they thought they had the perfect weapon to destroy Western civilisation, democracy and capitalism. But people quite like choice, wealth and being able to make better lives for themselves. These Marxists though want a state where you only do what you are told. By them of course.

They can't work of course, because they have to bring about Utopia and have to spend their time thinking up rules. You have to work to pay taxes to support them, naturally. And they will need cars and special lanes to drive in due to the urgent nature of their business, on your behalf. And we must build a defence against the end of the World.

Heard this somewhere before? Yep, the Global Warming scam is just the Marxists having a laugh but actually using a version of Animal Farm for real. And sops like Cameron don't even realise, that is the biggest joke. The Red/Greens have conned you with the most obvious scam they could think of and you still fell for it!

Or maybe it was inspired by the slightly less profound, Chicken Little. Same story, same substance.

Next time an eco loon tells you what to think ask them to prove it. Not quote how many people they claim support their view, real provable, observable facts. Let me give you a prediction. At that point they will call you a fascist and move on.

Odd Rod Liddle

I like much of what Rod Liddle writes, particularly recently. He seems to have matured and is a bit more conscious of the stupidity of much of the Left's output. Obviously much of the stupidity is just poorly thought out tosh, to hide what they are really up to, but nevertheless, it's there.

But at the weekend Rod, who has been claiming these days that he is not so sure about AGW, wrote a piece that said the Met Office has accounted for the lack of a temperature rise since 1997, by agreeing and predicting that it will be like that for another 5 years.

Well that's OK then. Now that there is categoric proof. I mean it must be, because the even-handed Mr. Liddle goes on to suggest anyone disagreeing is a 'loon'. I think he was suggesting that everyone who feels at liberty to question a scientific theory believes there is a world wide communist conspiracy behind it. I guess the possibility that the Judean Popular Front and a number of other organisations of a similar name, have the same desired objective without agreeing on details, is not likely

If there is no conspiracy, it isn't happening. Well, I'm sure there is no conspiracy, certainly not in the James Bond understood context that seems to be all that occurs to Rod, but it is clear a mindset exists that thinks Western civilisation is a cancer of the planet and should be (at least) reined in. I remember this being a popular view among the 14 year old girls in my art class at school. People generally grow out of it when they have to assume some responsibility in  life.

Some people though clearly don't get past this stage and, frustrated by both everyone else and reality not chiming with their views they dig in. Sometimes they just rant at the moon, but sometimes they kill people who try to find cures for diseases by experimenting on animals. They don't bother to look into, or understand the object of their rage (and there might be some legitimate things to oppose), it is their image of animals derived from too much Peter Rabbit that drives them.

Is it ironic to have a complete lack of humanity, whilst complaining that you think someone has a complete lack of humanity? But back to Global Warming. Rod says that you cannot argue that the world's temperature has increased. Which I don't think anyone does argue with. What the concern is Rod, is why.

Your faith in the Met Office is touching, being a sort of religious faith requiring no reasoning. The Met Office of course has until now been hiding the fact that there has been no warming since 1997. Why would you hide it? As a scientific institution? Why does a body such as the Royal Society say that this particular scientific subject is unique and must not be discussed; we have arrived at the absolute truth. To continue to research the area, or propose alternate theories would be, well, heresy.

The Met Office even produced figures to prove our recent rainfall was part of an extreme weather pattern, due to AGW. To get the figures to appear scary though, they omitted two dry years. But we should trust these people explicitly, yes? Their computer models are wrong, but it is ultimately the basis for all the stupid spending by government, of our taxes on energy policies of no utility.

Sure they make some individuals and energy companies rich, by giving them subsidies (a political measure, given to companies when it is clear it isn't self sustaining), but for the rest of us, it puts us in jeopardy of having no fuel in the near future and paying through the nose when we do get any. (Actually, for wind power, we pay even when they don't produce. Nice deal eh?)

The easiest way to get money in modern Britain, is to con the government. Obviously, management consultants have been doing this, on an enormous scale for many years. Now more people want in on the action, not least MP's. Now, riding on the backs of ideological ignoramuses, arch capitalists (or thieves, really) are using the poor confused government as a milch cow.

Not maybe what the greens wanted, but hey, if it undermines Western democracy and destroys their societies, it is all the same. And it allows post destruction finger pointing that much of it was due to 'capitalist greed', which would be true.

So, to help Rod a little, here is what a sceptic actually thinks; the world has shown some warming. It is not dramatic yet and could be considered benign, but it is valid to ask what is driving it and come to understand the implications. Currently we don't know, but the cyclical patterns we see from Earth's history and our understanding of solar activity, it is probably mainly the sun.

What it definitely isn't due to is Man's output of CO2. Despite the recurring theme of the central importance of Man on Earth throughout history, we really aren't that significant. Strange really, the current Left attempts to undermine civilisation by saying that Man is heating the planet, is based on their view that Man is insignificant, Mother Earth is the important 'one'.

We know, by using not abusing science that CO2 concentrations have spiked some 400 years after global temperatures rose. This was the area for a big lie by Al Gore, who slipped the graph the other way round when talking about it on his gloriously (and no doubt intentionally) mis-titled 'An Inconvenient Truth'.

Pollution however is unpleasant and probably largely unnecessary, but we are not looking hard enough for alternative solutions to our energy needs, partly because of the efforts of the Greens sucking funds to their organisations and projects. But also, partly due to the fact that a huge oil and gas infrastructure exists and that is not going to be rendered redundant overnight whilst politicians can still be manipulated and bribed!

So the 'conspiracy' is just the convergence of the activities of a large number of ideologically Left organisations working to undermine our current system of government and society. They have to work this way, to achieve power and then introduce their much better style of government, because no one would vote for it. What does that tell us?

And Global Warming might be happening and it might not. It is very probably something beyond our control and entirely natural if it is happening. There is an enormous amount of energy potential all around us (an apple contains the equivalent of a million tons of TNT) we just don't know how to get at it. And thanks to the Met Office and other harmful organisations, with the unthinking support of people such as Rod Liddle, we are not really looking into it.

Left ideology has been and continues to be, very harmful in societies, but for science to be subsumed by it is both  unforgivable and dangerous.

What Would Marx Have Done

Karl Marx wrote something that inspired a great many people to believe some amazing things and some to murder large numbers of people. I'm sure that is not what he meant. Marx of course was an arch sponger who deplored the idea of work (or at least, him having to do it) but was keen on wealth. Truly a New Labour man.

He believed in the inevitability of communism taking over the world. It was just one of those counter-intuitive things that excite people of a traditional 'Left' leaning. Why would any rational person believe what the Green lobbyists and activists have been saying about climate? It wasn't really based on anything and couldn't be substantiated.

Further, it was never a consensus scientific point of view, it was that those who dared speak out were vilified and threatened that held the line for this daft idea. As usual, the Left seized the institutions, here the 'scientific' media and the UN panel, before acting. Able to control the flow of information meant that they controlled minds. When has the Left not used propaganda? Hitler, as a militarist socialist used it directly and Stalin used it via the useful idiots.

And of course the fear that Marx might be right led to the depth of the Cold War and to events like Korea and Vietnam. For their part the Soviets accepted it and worked through violence to accelerate it and the West reacted strongly to contain it.

Yet communism is so at odds with human nature that it could never last itself. Sure we should always be alive to the dangers inherent in the ideology, look at the Global Warming scam and its costs, but also we should not fear it overall. It eats itself.
